WHO WE ARE

The Village Academy is a post secondary educational facility that provides academic and vocational support services to rural youth who would pursue career choices in the agriculture value chain.

OUR PURPOSE

We are a solution oriented option for youth who are inhibited by social and economic marginalization in the areas of education, training, job opportunities and self-employment. Our participatory response seeks to restore equity and affordable access to opportunities for personal development and growth of competent youth.

WHY WE DO

These rural youth and students have dropped out of the formal education system, are unemployed and inadequately prepared to seek employment and as such they are first marginalized economically.
